Our support packages

We offer two levels of package to local authority agencies. Our Gold package is designed for larger local authorities or partnerships of local authorities who wish to work together to support many adoptive families. Our Silver package is designed for smaller local authorities who may be supporting a smaller number of adoptive families.  

Gold Package 

  • This package offers access to 60 places on our programme of specialist learning and training opportunities, available for use by prospective adopters, adoptive parents, and/or practitioners selected by your agency depending on relevance and requirement. 
  • Delivery of an in-person training course for up to 20 participants (included within 60 places), at a venue provided by your agency at a location of your choosing, with content agreed in consultation and collaboration from our menu of training options.
  • Thirty Adoption UK Scotland memberships for your families with direct online registration for those families, and all membership benefits offered via our online services, including our digital magazine and multiple resources. 
  • Facilitation and delivery of two community family events, planned in discussion and collaboration with local practitioners to agree venue/timing/activity.  
  • Online attendance from AUK staff at up to two preparation groups or post-adoption groups. 
  • Management of contract delivery provision via regular report on uptake, received feedback and offers of planning, mid-point and end of contract management meeting, and final delivery report. 
  • Provision of branded publicity materials and direct booking links for marketing of service provision with adoptive families in your own local authority.  

 

Silver Package  

  • This package offers access to 20 places on our programme of specialist learning and training opportunities, available for use by prospective adopters, adoptive parents, and/or practitioners selected by your agency depending on relevance and requirement. 
  • Ten Adoption UK Scotland memberships for your families with direct online registration for those families, and all membership benefits offered via our online services, including our digital magazine and multiple resources. 
  • Facilitation and delivery of a community family event, planned in discussion and collaboration with local practitioners to agree venue/timing/activity.  
  • Online attendance from AUK staff at one preparation group or post-adoption group.

To further tailor packages to meet your needs, add-ons can be purchased such as additional training places, additional family events, more family consultations or extra workshops for education staff.
